I am passionate about food and enjoy dining out so why wait until a friend can join me if I can go by myself!
Dining alone can, however, be quite daunting when you haven’t done it before. My first experience of it was a bit of a disaster but, I have learnt a few tips along the way! The restaurants I have listed are places where I have enjoyed good food with preferred seating areas when dining alone such as…
- Counter-top dining by the bar
These areas are good because you can sit with other solo diners, speak to the bar staff when they are not serving and watch cocktails being made etc. Often you have your back to other busier areas of the restaurant.
- Window seats
Tables by the window are great for watching the world go by…
- Outdoor dining
These are more casual places to dine and ideal for those lunchtimes or evenings when you wish to go along by yourself
- Live Entertainment
Being able to dine while watch a live band, acrobatic performance or comedy act is enjoyable if you are alone.
