Dickenson Bay, Antigua
An informal restaurant on stilts in the sea with far reaching views. Dine and watch the beautiful sunset.
Warri Pier takes reservations from non-residents and is also part of the all inclusive plan of the 3* resort, Starfish Halcyon Cove.
The open dining area with tropical breeze is filled with blue and white clothed tables, many overlooking the water. As a solo diner I recommend reserving a table by the edge to watch the sunset. After dark, the lights from the restaurant create a glow over the sea, allowing you to watch the fish dart around beneath you.
Food and Drinks
If you are on the all inclusive plan, a couple of dishes require an additional charge, for example the steak or lobster. A full bar provides a range of soft and alcoholic drinks.
Warm bread rolls with butter were served on arrival.
I chose the fish to start which was delicious. For my main course I chose pan fried seabass served with mashed potatoes and vegetables. The potatoes were light and creamy and the seabags cooked to perfection.
Warm, friendly service is provided here. Hosts genuinely ask about your day. Drinks and starters were served promptly with a short rest before the main course. The atmosphere is very relaxed.
Would I Return?
I would definitely return here. The restaurant is unique being located in the sea and the friendly staff, good food and stunning outlook make it a great place for dining solo.
