Antigua hotels offer diverse accommodation to suit a variety of budgets and requirements, including self catering and all inclusive options. Here are some of my recommendations from my solo holidays to Antigua.

- STARFISH HALCYON COVE BY REX – 3* – great beach on N.W. coast

- ST JAMES CLUB – 4* – Luxurious, large resort on the S.E. coast
ROOM ONLY RESORTS
ADMIRAL’S INN – 4* boutique hotel within the grounds of Nelson’s Dockyard
BED AND BREAKFAST
Nicole & Adam’s studio accommodation is in a peaceful hillside location with far reaching views across Dickenson Bay, within the grounds of their home. Whether you would like to stay for a night or two or the entire time, don’t miss signing up to one of the fantastic cooking classes at Nicole’s Table cookery school.
All Inclusive Resorts
Many all inclusive resorts are situated on an idyllic beachfront location. ‘All inclusive’ generally means all food in the buffet restaurants, local brands of spirits, wine and soft drinks are included in the price. Non-motorised water sports, entertainment, beach towels and sun loungers are also included. Spa facilities, fine wine and champagne are usually available at an extra charge, as are a couple of menu choices.
Antigua Hotels – Room Only Resorts or Self-Catering Accommodation
For those solo travellers who wish to explore the island and prefer to eat in a variety of restaurants then a ‘room only’ option is a good idea.
