My room was clean, warm and comfortable comprising a kingsize bed, television with Freeview, desk with chair, tea and coffee making facilities. There is a small wardrobe area and the compact bathroom was fitted with a shower cubicle, low level WC and a wash handbasin. A manually operated electric heater was fitted to the wall and a plug in fan was also provided in the room . Irons, ironing boards and hairdryers are available on request and not guaranteed. USB sockets were fitted in addition to the regular plug sockets.
The views from my window were the neighbouring tower block’s windows and other buildings so I did need to close my curtains.
All rooms have access to half an hour free wifi. An additional 24 hours wifi can be purchased for £3.
Payable parking is available nearby. There is not a car park attached to the hotel.
During my stay, I dealt with several members of staff at the front desk and in the restaurant area. They were all very friendly and helpful.
