A bright, cheery restaurant painted white with splashes of colour symbolising the Caribbean Sea. Canvases of Viv Richards and the legendary Bob Marley adorn the walls and ornaments, lights and fans are suspended from the vaulted ceiling.
Chequered tables are positioned around the balcony edge, overlooking the streets of St Johns. Watch the world go by as you drink and dine, while enjoying the tropical breeze.

Appetizers and Starters
Appetizers and starters included pumpkin soup, Caribbean Seafood Chowder, conch fritters with chilli sauce and saltfish buljol – a fricassé with onions, tomatoes and garlic bread. Prices upwards of $7.70.
An island fish burger, jerk chicken breast roll or lobster sandwich offer lighter choices for lunch, from $7.70. These are also served with fries or salad.
A selection of lobster, seafood or quinoa salads are available together with homemade bread and butter. Prices range from $10-26.55.
Alternatives include vegi rasta pasta with fresh vegetables, a range of spicy conch, fish, shrimp or vegetables curries or chicken penne in a creole or white cream sauce, starting from $15.
I chose the butterfish curry. It was amazing! Big chunks of succulent butterfish covered in curry sauce, full of flavour without being too spicy. The curry was served with rice and peas, cooked to perfection and a selection of al dente vegetables. Without a doubt, this is one of the best curries I have eaten in Antigua.
Side dishes such as fries, garlic mash, garlic bread and side salad cost from $3.85.
Desserts are priced from $6 for Rum & raisin or coconut ice cream, coconut or key lime pie.
Sodas start from $2.30. Other drinks include lime squash, Ting, ice cream milkshakes, as well as a full range of alcoholic drinks from the bar and many tempting cocktails! Maybe try the crushed ice coffee after your meal?
Service was friendly, efficient and informative. I was frequently asked if all was well with my meal and if I needed anything.
Would I Return?
Definitely. As a solo diner, I liked that the outdoor tables were set as individual booths, offering a level of privacy distancing you from other diners. An indoor seating area up at the bar is great for a pre-lunch drink too. Because St Johns is such a busy town, there was plenty to look at from your elevated position. Furthermore, I was impressed with the food and the staff were friendly.
